Our Story

The Racing Association for Model Cars of Santa Clara Valley (RAMS) was founded in the early 1960s by a small group of passionate RC enthusiasts in Santa Clara, California. What started as friends sharing their love for precision RC racing has grown into one of the Bay Area’s most respected on-road racing communities.

In 2015, the club moved to its current home, the renowned Warm Springs Raceway in Fremont, California. It currently has 75+ members.

Our Mission

We exist to promote the sport of on-road RC racing while fostering a welcoming, competitive, and educational environment for drivers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner curious about RC racing or a seasoned veteran looking for serious competition, you’ll find your place in our racing family.
